Koalas are primarily in the eucalyptus woodlands of eastern and southern Australia, preferring a climate that is relatively mild. These charming marsupials spend much of their day reposing in the foliage, consuming almost exclusively gum greens, which are lacking nutrients and demand a significant amount of effort to digest.
